Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. invites an experienced ADAS MIL Simulation Engineer to design, develop and validate ADAS features using virtual MIL simulations. The role focuses on building models with CARSIM, MATLAB/Simulink and Python, integrating them into MIL workflows and aligning with real-world testing.

The candidate should have 8–10 years of experience, with expertise in MBSE/MBD under MATLAB/Simulink and familiarity with AEB/ACC/LKA controls, working across Gurugram or Pune locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical, automobile, mechatronics, computer science, or electronics engineering.
• Strong understanding of automotive ADAS architecture & simulation techniques.
• Proficiency in CARSIM/MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other simulation and programming languages.
• Experience in Model Based Development (MBD) and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) under MATLAB/Simulink.
• Practical experience with controls like AEB, ACC, or LKA is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in ADAS development or automotive simulation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate ADAS functionalities through virtual simulations.
• Develop and maintain simulation models for ADAS functionalities using industry-standard tools (CARSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, Python).
• Collaborate with teams to integrate simulation models into the MIL testing framework.
• Integrate plant and controller models using ADAMS, CarSim for MIL simulations in MATLAB/Simulink.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

Role: Design, Develop & Validate ADAS functionalities through virtual simulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain simulation models for ADAS functionalities using industry-standard tools and languages (e.g., CARSIM/MATLAB/Simulink, Python etc).
• Collaborate with teams to integrate simulation models into the Model-in-Loop (MIL) testing framework.

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional:

• Proficiency in CARSIM/MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other simulation and programming languages.

• Practical Experience in developing one of the following controls: Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keep Assist (LKA) will be added advantage.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
• Prior experience in ADAS development, automotive simulation, or related field
