Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Gurugram seeks an ADAS engineer for development and validation of HIL systems. You will craft test scenarios, build models in MATLAB/Simulink, run HIL tests, and report results from specifications.

The candidate should have 3–8 years in ADAS with CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, CANoe/CANalyser, CAPL, Python or LabVIEW, and a solid understanding of ISO 26262.

Qualifications

ADAS - Development & Validation

• Define and manage HILS systems for ADAS function
• Setting up of HILs lab (Preparing I/O configuration & Testing, Open Loop & Closed-Loop testing, Results analysis & Report making).
• Driving test scenario, create test cases for ADAS HILS, test procedure and test script from specification document.

HANDS ON EXPOSURE In

• Good knowledge of ADAS functions (AEB, ACC, LKAS, etc.)
• Exposure to automotive communication (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet) protocols.
• Complete know how for hardware/software tools

(CANoe/ CANalyser, CAPL, Python, LabVIEW)

• Knowledge of Camera Based HILS system
• Controller development expertise with deep insight for controller hardware/software knowledge.
• Diagnostics (KWP & UDS protocols) & functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
• Know-how of basic electric circuit design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-managed, and ability to learn and adapt
• Flexibility for Overseas trainings etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage HILS systems for ADAS function
• Deriving test scenario, create test cases for ADAS HILS, test procedure and test script from specification document.
• Prior experience in building Control model using MATLAB/Simulink, Function verification & testing using HILs
• Work with system supplier to fulfil system requirements
• Data analysis, understanding of measurement data, summarization, and reporting.
• Troubleshooting of software related issues.
