Job summary

Hitachi Systems in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Active Directory L2 Engineer responsible for administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Microsoft AD infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

You'll manage user lifecycle, Groups Policy, identity access, Kerberos/SSO issues, health checks, and coordination with L3 teams, security teams, and application owners.

Experience with PowerShell scripting for reporting and remediation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experienced Active Directory L2 Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of AD DS, GPOs and identity management.
• Experience with Kerberos/NTLM authentication and SSO.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for reporting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage AD DS day-to-day operations and health checks.
• Create, modify, disable, and delete user, group, and computer accounts.
• Manage OUs and delegation of control.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Support user onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues involving Kerberos, NTLM, and SSO.
• Investigate account lockouts and login-related issues.
• Perform Active Directory health checks and replication monitoring.
• Manage DNS and DHCP services in Windows environments.
• Perform security group management and access reviews.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for reporting.
• Monitor Domain Controllers and resolve AD-related incidents.
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for major incidents.
• Coordinate with L3 teams, security teams, and application owners.
