Job summary

The Acting Director of Teaching and Learning K–12 at St Mary's College leads curriculum development, assessment and reporting, guiding instructional practice across Kindergarten to Year 12. Based within the College Leadership Team, the role emphasises inclusive, contemporary teaching and learning and data-informed improvement.

The position is a 1.0 FTE leave replacement from 19 October 2026 to end of the 2027 school year, with a focus on strategic leadership and supporting staff to elevate

About The Position

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate educator to step into the role of Acting Director of Teaching and Learning K–12.

As a member of the College Leadership Team, the Acting Director will provide strategic and instructional leadership across Kindergarten to Year 12, supporting the development and delivery of engaging, inclusive and contemporary teaching and learning practices. The role has responsibility for curriculum development, assessment and reporting, the use of student data to inform practice, and supporting staff to continually strengthen teaching and learning across the College.
