Job summary

Accenture in India invites applications for an experienced SAP PM professional with a strong background in Enterprise Asset Management for utilities. The role focuses on translating business needs into SAP PM configurations, optimizing maintenance planning, and ensuring seamless integration with procurement, finance, and logistics.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP PM projects, asset lifecycle management, and reliable analytics to drive asset performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Asset Management projects in Utilities industry.
• Experience in implementing at least one End to End SAP PM Project for utilities.
• 3+ years of experience in Asset Management with knowledge of Asset Maintenance, GIS, Asset Analytics, Asset Planning, DERMS and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand maintenance requirements and translate into SAP PM specs.
• Design SAP S/4HANA PM module to meet business needs for maintenance planning and work orders.
• Analyze maintenance processes and propose improvements aligned with SAP PM capabilities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate PM with other SAP modules or external systems.
• Define solutions for complex programs and contribute to program roadmaps.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their maintenance requirements, workflows, and challenges. Translate business needs into functional specifications and SAP S/4HANA PM solutions.


• Design SAP S/4HANA PM module to meet business requirements. Customize and optimize the system for maintenance planning, work order management, asset management, and associated processes.


• Analyze current maintenance processes and suggest improvements, aligning them with SAP S/4HANA PM capabilities. Implement best practices for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and asset lifecycle management.


• Experience in Asset Management System for Utilities (Generation, Transmission and Distribution)


• Hands on experience of design and execution of Asset hierarchy, asset nomenclature, Functional location, asset analytics, asset residual life and asset retirement activities.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as procurement, finance, and logistics) to ensure seamless integration of PM processes with other SAP modules or external systems.


• Work independently on defining solution for complex projects or contribute to solution of a program


• Specialized in a technology/domain/functional competency area and prepare a road map for the competency/T&D industry segment in form of competitive service offerings


• Get involved in assignments in large programs, help in defining business and technological solutions which help customer design and implement new business processes and organization capabilities.


• Program management of large, complex business programs to deliver digitally enabled solutions


• Identify opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks


• Draw on extensive knowledge and experience across System Integration projects to provide insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations based on robust analysis


• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Asset Management projects in Utilities industry


• Experience in implementing at least one End to End SAP PM Project for utility.


• 3+ years of experience of working in Asset Management with advanced knowledge of enterprise or application systems (at least 2 of the following systems - (Asset Maintenance, GIS, Asset Analytics, Asset planning, DERMS and GIS) and minimum 2 year of experience in Asset Management Services, Asset Lifecycle Management, Predictive Analytics and Reliability Centered Maintenance
