Job summary

Accenture, a global leader in strategy and consulting, seeks a Business Analyst / Consultant for Commodity Market Operations in Bangalore. The role focuses on optimizing trading operations, managing risk and ensuring compliance across energy value chains, with involvement in ETRM implementations and process transformations.

You will work on industry-specific solutions for Oil & Gas, Power, and Utilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams and global clients to drive value.

Qualifications

• Exposure to energy/oil & gas value chain and commodity trading domain.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in commodity trading.
• Consulting or industry experience in ETRM tools.
• Exposure to commodities like gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, heating oil, etc.
• Solid understanding of P&L, accounting, taxes, risk and derivatives.
• Knowledge of production, planning, logistics, storage, and distribution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Endur experience is preferred; SAP modules knowledge a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Understand commodity trading and risk management needs with clients.
• Document business processes across Front, Mid and Back Office.
• Design and implement solutions for ETRM tools (Endur preferred).
• Support testing, migration and deployment of trading solutions.
• Advise on process improvements in production planning, logistics and accounting.

Must have skills

• Energy Industry exposure in domains like Oil & Gas Production, Refining, or Distribution
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Commodity Trading.
• Consulting or Industry functional experience in one or more ETRM tools

• Preferably experienced in Endur (Ops – scheduling, actualization, settlements, accounting, inventory)
