Job summary

Novotech is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Collections / Cash Application with 3 to 5 years of experience to support collection activities, cash application, and account reconciliation. Experience in Clinical Research or Life Sciences is a plus.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Project Managers, Billing, and Finance to ensure timely payments, accurate allocations, and month-end close support in a global CRO environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s in commerce, finance or accounting required or equivalent
• CA Inter/CMA/ACCA/CPA or similar qualification advantageous
• 5 years in Accounts Receivable, Collections and Cash Application
• Strong AR processes, reconciliations and customer management knowledge
• Proficiency in Excel, Concur and Salesforce required
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers on invoices to secure payments and meet targets
• Daily cash application and allocation
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate unapplied cash
• Prepare AR aging reports and status updates

Position Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist Collections / Cash Application with 3 to 5 years of experience to support collection activities, cash application, account reconciliation, and customer relationship management. Experience in the Clinical Research, CRO, or Life Sciences industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices, secure timely payments and meet collections targets.
• Perform daily cash application and allocation activities.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate unapplied cash or short payments.
• Prepare AR aging reports and collection status updates.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Billing Teams, and Finance.
• Resolve billing disputes and support month-end close activities.
• Maintain accurate collection notes and customer communication records.
• Support DSO reduction and collection target achievement.

Required Qualifications
