Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pune is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage an AP team and drive end-to-end AP processes, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor master maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of AP experience, CA or related masters, and strong analytical and communication skills. ERP SAP and Advanced Excel proficiency are required, with a focus on meeting SLAs and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3).
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent; Masters degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Team management and leadership of AP team.
• End-to-end Accounts Payables cycle: invoice processing, helpdesk, payments, vendor master, and T&E.
• Ensure deliverables meet SLAs and are compliant with policies and standards.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements.
• Handle internal reporting and adherence to SLAs.
• Quality control and audits; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets on team TAT and accuracy.
• Conduct review meetings with team and external stakeholders.

• Ensure all teams deliverables are completed in due time and compliant to relevant standards and policies and reported accurately
• Ensure compliance to all SLA and KPI targets
• Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities
• Handle internal reporting, adherence to SLAs
• Handle quality control and audits
• Exceed daily / weekly / monthly targets on Teams TAT and Accuracy
• Conducting review meetings with Team and external stakeholders
