Job summary

AMSAL CHEM PVT. LTD. in Mumbai seeks an Accounts & MIS Executive to manage day-to-day accounting data entry, receivables follow-ups, cash-flow reporting and MIS preparation. The role supports both company and personal accounting needs and reports to the Head of Accounts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Tally experience, strong Excel skills, and a B.Com or equivalent background, with GST/TDS handling exposure as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Basic to good understanding of accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and accounting data entry.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with vouchers, sales, purchases, petty cash and receivables.
• Ability to prepare basic MIS and cash-flow reports.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
• B.Com or similar commerce/accounting background preferred.
• Tata ION and/or exposure to stocks, securities or investment accounting is an advantage.

• Handle receivables follow-ups and maintain records of outstanding amounts.

• Handle GST and TDS related work including preparation of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual statements in coordination with consultants.

Role Overview

Responsible for day-to-day accounting data entry, receivables follow-ups, cash-flow reporting and periodic MIS, supporting both company and personal accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accounts-related data in the online accounting package, including Tata ION.
• Handle accounting data entry for personal accounts using Tally.
• Record vouchers, sales, purchases, petty cash and other routine accounting transactions.
• Maintain supporting records in Excel wherever required.
• Follow up on receivables and maintain records of outstanding amounts.
• Prepare cash-flow reports and periodic MIS reports.
• Ensure accounting data is accurate, complete and entered on time.
• Handle personal financial data primarily relating to stocks and securities, requiring basic accounting knowledge.
• Coordinate with the Head of Accounts on day-to-day accounting requirements and reporting.
• Handle GST and TDS related work including preparation of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual statements in co-ordination with consultants.
