Job summary

Job Description

Position: Junior Accounts Executive

Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Mon to Sat

Exp 1-3 years

Sal 20,000 to 35,000p.m.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Executive to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, basic understanding of statutory compliances, and hands-on experience with Tally.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and passing daily accounting entries in Tally.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for timely payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments as required.
• Generate MIS reports and provide financial data to management.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in handling end-to-end accounting processes.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
