Job summary

RSMK AND CO., Chartered Accountants, Kolkata, is seeking a Manager Client Assignments to lead and close client engagements from Grant Lane office. You will oversee a team, manage GST and TDS compliance, draft statements, and coordinate client relations to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidate is a semi-qualified CA / CA Inter / M.Com with 2+ years in a CA firm, strong communication, and solid accounting fundamentals. Location: Kolkata – Grant Lane.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a CA firm.
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Tax Audit, and financial statement preparation.
• Prior experience handling multiple client assignments independently.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of juniors.
• Excellent communication skills — confident in direct client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of client assignments — from planning to final closure.
• Lead and supervise a team of juniors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Handle GST compliance — registrations, all return filings (GSTR-1, 3B, 9/9C, etc.).
• Manage TDS compliance — return filing, deductions, reconciliations.
• Draft and finalize financial statements.
• Handle Tax Audit filing and related compliance.
• Prepare various certificates (Net Worth Certificates, and other CA certifications).
• Draft Project Reports for loan/funding purposes.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients — managing queries, coordination, and relationships.

RSMK AND CO, a Chartered Accountancy firm (ICAI Firm Regn. No. 333801E), is looking for an experienced professional to take a leadership role in managing and closing client assignments at our Kolkata (Grant Lane) office.

Role: Manager Client Assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of client assignments — from planning to final closure
