Job summary

The Indian Hume Pipe Co (IHP) is urgently seeking an Accounts Officer / Sr. Accounts Officer for its Gandhinagar location. The role requires 4–8 years of experience in accounts, with qualifications including B.Com/M.Com./MBA (Fin), MFM or PGDM.

You will handle project accounting, payroll interfaces, MIS, and tax compliance within a construction/industrial setting. Experience with ERP/SAP is preferred and familiarity with infrastructure or factory accounting standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in accounts and finance.
• Experience in infrastructure or construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting standards for construction or factory setups.
• ERP/SAP exposure is advantageous.
• Hands-on with day-to-day accounting, finalization, and MIS.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and receivable for projects.
• Oversee project accounting and finalization of accounts.
• Maintain day-to-day documentation and records.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and data for management.
• Manage taxation (direct/indirect) matters as required.
• Monitor price variation/escalation for project contracts.
• Support internal and external audits of infrastructure projects.
