Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for plant finance and accounting operations
• Preparation and analysis of monthly MIS, P&L, and variance reports
• Product costing, standard costing, and cost variance analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, and control of plant OPEX & CAPEX
• Inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation
• Fixed asset accounting and capitalization
• GST, statutory compliance, and audit coordination
• Strengthening internal controls and adherence to SOPs
• ERP/SAP handling for plant finance processes
• Leading and mentoring the plant finance team
• Financial support to Plant Head for operational decision-making

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting
• Hands‑on experience in plant/works accounting
• Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• ERP/SAP or similar system experience preferred

Experience Required

• Minimum 10-15 years accounting experience in the Fertilizer or Cement Industry
• Prior experience in Fertilizer, Cement or Chemical industries is mandatory
• Exposure to large‑scale industrial procurement environments will be an added advantage
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
  Professional certifications such as: *CA (Chartered Accountant) *CPA (Certified Public Accountant) *ACCA *CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
  Master’s degree (MBA in Finance or M.Com) – often preferred
