Position:- Accounts Executive

Department:- Accounts & Finance

Reporting To:- Accounts Manager

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing accounting operations, taxation compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory requirements. The role requires strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, accounting standards, and ERP systems to ensure accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in ERP/Tally.
• Prepare and review journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up for collections.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial statements.

Taxation

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns).
• Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and GST portal.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory regulations.
• Handle tax notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Monitor input tax credit (ITC) and ensure proper utilization.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for statutory matters.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
• M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
• Additional certification in GST or Taxation will be an advantage.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Accounts & Taxation.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Busy, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).
• Knowledge of financial statement preparation and reconciliation processes.
