Job summary

Alok Equipments in Pune is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations, including journal entries, cash and bank reconciliations, GST/TDS compliance, and payroll processing.

You will prepare financial statements, coordinate audits, maintain ledgers, and support budgeting and MIS reporting, ensuring timely statutory filings and accurate financial data.

Qualifications

  • Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Managed end-to-end accounting operations: journal, cash, bank, purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
  • Maintained Cash Book, Bank Book, and General Ledger for daily transactions.
  • Performed Bank Reconciliation Statements and reconciled debtors, creditors, payables and receivables.
  • Verified vendor invoices and payroll-related claims prior to processing.
  • Prepared vendor payments, reimbursements and online transfers.
  • Coordinated with banks for daily operations and account maintenance.
  • Prepared weekly and monthly cash flow statements and assisted fund flow management.
  • Maintained purchase and sales registers and other statutory records.
  • Processed monthly payroll and statutory payroll deductions.
  • Ensured GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT and Advance Tax compliance.
  • Filed GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and maintained GST records.
  • Filed TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q) and managed statutory taxes.
  • Managed contractor and supplier billing and customer invoicing, and TDS deductions.
  • Monitored collections and payables, and performed stock verification with stores/production.
  • Coordinated with auditors and regulatory authorities; assisted budgets and MIS reporting.
  • Supported monthly/quarterly/annual closing, GL reconciliation and financial statements.

  • Managed end-to-end accounting operations, including journal, cash, bank, purchase, sales, receipt, payment and adjustment entries in Tally/ERP.
  • Maintained Cash Book, Bank Book and General Ledger, ensuring accurate recording of daily financial transactions.
  • Performed Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and reconciled debtors, creditors, accounts payable and accounts receivable on a regular basis.
  • Verified vendor invoices, employee reimbursement claims and payment vouchers prior to processing.
  • Prepared and processed vendor payments, employee reimbursements, cheque payments and online bank transfers.
  • Coordinated with banks for day-to-day banking operations, documentation, account maintenance and banking facilities.
  • Prepared weekly and monthly Cash Flow Statements and assisted in fund flow management.
  • Prepared and maintained Purchase Registers, Sales Registers and other statutory accounting records.
  • Processed monthly payroll, salary disbursement, salary slips and statutory payroll deductions.

  • Managed contractor billing, supplier billing, customer invoicing and TDS deductions as per applicable regulations.
  • Monitored customer collections, supplier payments and outstanding receivables/payables.
  • Conducted stock verification, inventory reconciliation and stock valuation in coordination with stores and production departments.
  • Prepared audit schedules and coordinated with Chartered Accountants, statutory auditors, internal auditors, Company Secretaries and regulatory authorities.
  • Assisted in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Supported monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities, including General Ledger reconciliation and MIS reporting.
  • Prepared financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement and various MIS reports.
  • Ensured compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Income Tax Act, GST Act and other statutory regulations.
  • Coordinated with government departments, banks and regulatory authorities for statutory compliance and documentation.
  • Maintained proper accounting records, supporting documents and ensured timely completion of audits and statutory filings.

Qualification : B.Com / M.Com/MBA FINANCE.
