Green Aero Propulsion is hiring for an accounting/financial administration role in Bengaluru. You will own the numbers end-to-end, from invoicing to monthly closes, and support tax filings and regulatory paperwork. The role involves cross-team collaboration and occasional admin tasks as the startup grows.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience, comfort with Tally or QuickBooks, and strong Excel skills. We value discretion, time management, and a hands-on, “get it done” mindset.

About the job:

Green Aero Propulsion is building India's first fully integrated transonic drone platform: indigenous engine, avionics, and airframe, all under one roof. That means our finance function has to move at the same speed as our engineers: fast, scrappy but chasing perfection, and comfortable with a to-do list that changes by lunchtime. We need someone who can own the numbers end-to-end, not just process them, someone who's fine chasing an overdue vendor payment at 10am and helping close the books at 8pm, no drama, just gets it done.If you like structure and you can handle the occasional fire drill without blinking: this is your seat.

Experience: 1-3 years in accounting/financial administration

What you'll actually be doing:

• Keep the money moving Book every invoice and sales transaction accurately, on time, no backlog piling up
• Online purchases to payments, TDS compliance, Credit card compliances, GST reconcilliation
• Own AP and AR — verify invoices, process payments, chase due dates like it's your job (because it is)
• Close the books every month and make sure the numbers actually tie out
• Keep us compliant (so nobody panics later)Run compliance checks on financial activity against policy and law — catch issues before they become problems
• Support tax filings, audits, and regulatory paperwork
• Turn out clean monthly reports — expenses, sales, whatever leadership needs to make a call
• Keep invoice/receipt records tight and follow up on anything overdue
• Work across teams so payments and collections don't become anyone's bottleneck
• Wear the extra hats, keep financial records organized and easy to find — future-you (and the auditor) will thank you
• Help leadership track budgets and expenses, plus whatever ad hoc finance task lands on the desk that week
• Pitch in on general office admin and employee expense management when the team needs it — startup life means the job description flexes

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years in accounting or financial administration
• Comfortable in Tally or QuickBooks, and genuinely good in Excel — not just SUM formulas
• The kind of person who notices when something's off by ₹50 and actually chases it down
• Can handle confidential financial info with real discretion
• Solid time management — you can juggle five things without dropping the important one
• Communicates clearly, works well across teams, doesn't need hand-holding

This role's a fit if you want more ownership than a typical accounting job gives you, and you're okay that "not in my job description" isn't really a phrase we use here.
