Job summary

Kemin in Chennai is seeking an AR associate to manage accounts receivable, perform customer ledger reconciliations, prepare MIS schedules and assist in monthly closures.

The role includes bank reconciliations (BRS), intercompany balances, export document handling, and assistance with audit schedules, with potential Saturday work as needed.

Qualifications

• B.Com with 2-3 years’ experience in AR or related accounting.
• Experience in bank reconciliation (BRS) and MIS preparation.
• Familiarity with intercompany balances and export documentation.

Responsibilities

• Accounting of accounts receivable entries and customer ledger reconciliation.
• Export document submission and closure of EDPMS/IDPMS entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations (BRS) for all accounts.
• Confirm intercompany balances monthly and prepare related party schedules.
• Prepare monthly audit schedules and assist periodic audits.

• Preparation of Audit and MIS schedules

Work Environment: Business Office (Corporate Office works 5 days a week. This resource is expected to work on Saturdays as and when required)

Responsibilities

• Accounting of account receivable entries, customer ledger reconciliation, export document submission, closure of EDPMS and IDPMS entries
• Responsible for doing BRS of all bank accounts
• Confirmation of Inter Company balances monthly and preparation of related party schedules
• Preparation of monthly audit schedules.
• Perform customer reconciliation on a periodical basis.

• Assist in claiming incentive under Foreign Trade Policy, Customs and GST laws
• Responsible for the IC entries and ensure IC Matrix Tie out for all the affiliates .
