Job summary

Valuecent Consultancy Private Limited, Gurgaon, is seeking an Account Executive to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting audits for international clients, and ensuring regulatory compliance across GST, TDS and other taxes.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience, a CA or CMA background (or MBA Finance), strong accounting skills, and proficiency in Tally ERP and SAP. Interview mode: F2F.

Qualifications

• CA or CA Inter with 3 years articleship
• CMA or CMA Inter preferred
• MBA in Finance acceptable
• Experience in accounting, auditing, tax filings

Responsibilities

• Track, store, record, analyze and report client financial transactions.
• Prepare financial statements and assist audits for international clients in US, Europe, UAE and other regions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations.
• Create periodic reports such as balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist audits to identify control weaknesses.

Account Executive Requirements:

• Work Experience: 2-5 Years.

• Department: Account, Tax and Audit
• Candidate Profile: CA, CA Inter/IPCC Dropout with 3-years articleship, CMA, CMA Inter or qualified MBA (Finance).

Accounting Executive Responsibilities:

• Systematic tracking, storing, recording, analyzing, summarizing, and reporting of the clients financial transactions.
• Prepare and assist in preparation of financials, performing audit procedures, preparing tax data of international companies located in U.S., Europe, UAE and other countries.
• Complying with companys domestic and international accounting and financial regulations.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing internal or external audits to review financial processes, identify control weaknesses, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• To ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations. To check tax returns, calculate taxes owed, identify tax deductions and credits. To stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices.
• Self-manage assigned work/assignments and perform within given time budgets and due dates.
• Deliver high-quality, accurate and timely work.

Key Hard Skills Required:

• Understanding accounting and financial processes.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closure process
• Having a good knowledge of various Tax compliances and their workings like GST, TDS etc
• Basic understanding of accounting and reporting standards, IFRS, IND-AS.
• Keeping oneself updated in accounting standards and tax knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and indulging in self-training.
• Aptitude to learn and gain experience on various accounting standards followed in various countries of our client’s operations.
• Good knowledge of accounting software like Tally ERP, SAP.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and ability to learn different software/applications.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.

Key Soft Skills Required:

• Effective communication (Oral and Written), self-discipline, analytics and research abilities
• To have interpersonal and soft skills which are essential for drafting business emails and to interact with Seniors, team members and staff
• Should be able to accurately track and record financial transactions, using a keen eye for detail to find and correct discrepancies.
• Organizational and time management skills for on-time deliverables and to track and prioritize ongoing tasks and effectively perform, monitor, and evaluate accounting operations and deliverables.
• Problem-solving, mathematical, logical, troubleshooting skills.
