Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation (Commerce).
• Chartered Accountant designation preferred.
• 1–3 years of progressive experience.
• Knowledge of indirect tax, VAT/GST a plus.
• Proficient in NetSuite or equivalent ERP.

Responsibilities

• Handle indirect tax compliance filings with data, personnel, and advisors.

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for indirect tax compliance filings including working with accounting data, personnel, and outside advisors
• Assist global tax compliance and external tax advisors in the preparation of various indirect tax filings to ensure accurate and timely filings, mainly focusing on VAT and GST
• Perform general accounting functions including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and sub-ledger reconciliations
• Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure accounting records are complete and accurate
• Participate in the annual financial audit process including interactions with internal and external auditors
• Assist with other tax related projects on an ad hoc basis and general administrative tasks
