Job summary

IN775 Valmet Technologies Private Limited is seeking a finance professional to lead cash management activities. You will manage bank accounts, cash forecasting, and treasury policy implementation while collaborating with Business Finance and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, experience in financial reporting, and excellent English communication. Fluency in additional languages is advantageous, and the ability to work under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and/or a recognized accounting qualification.
• Experience with financial accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operative work.
• Participate in development projects globally: including process workflow, quality, compliance and process development.
• Identifying and understanding the requirements and gaps in finance solutions and effectively conducting change management.
• Providing expertise and advice on accounting issues to stakeholders.
• Working closely with Business Finance and other stakeholders.
• Bank accounts management and related financial accounting and reporting.
• Implementing Valmet Payment and Treasury policies.
• System set-up incl. master data and integrations.
• Bank accounts system administration.
• Daily bank Statement handlingprocess.
• Inbound and outbound payment processing.
• Exchange rate validation process.
• Cash Forecasting incl. Balances monitoring.
• Period-end closing, valuations, reconciliations and balance sheet specifications.

In this role you are responsible for

• Participate in daily operative work

To be successful in this role you have

• Expert in cash management
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Experience with tools such as Infor LN, M3 and Nomentia Cash Management
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and/or a recognized accounting qualification
• Previous working experience within financial accounting and reporting
• Self-motivated drive to fulfil requirements and meet timelines and ability to roll up sleeves when working across teams and functions to influence action
• Ability to identify critical topics and process issues where necessary
• Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver complex messages in an effective way
• Fluent in written and spoken English, competence in other languages is an advantage
• Understanding of Valmet business model and way of working is an advantage.
