Job summary

Medline India is seeking an Accountant to manage month-end close, prepare journal entries and financial reports, and support the Year-end Audit for the US entity.

The role requires hands-on SAP FA module experience, strong Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation skills, and excellent Excel proficiency for GAAP-compliant documentation and timely closing.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification with 1-2 years of experience or CA Inter with 4-5 years.
• Hands-on experience in FA module in SAP and balance sheet reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of US GAAP in fixed assets and month-end close.
• Manage end-to-end closure of books for US Entity and support audit.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation and timely closure of reconciling items.
• Journal entry assessment, automation, migration and US GAAP accruals.
• Monthly flux analysis and liaison with stakeholders for timely input.

Job Summary

Process Month-end duties including preparation and completion of Journal Entries and Financial Reports. Support Year-end Audit by creating and updating schedules to support our financial results. Perform Account Reconciliations that substantiate the values on the Balance Sheet. Ensure processes produce correct GAAP accounting and have sufficient documentation for both the procedure and the purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Working knowledge in fixed assets (R2R) process as per US GAAP
• Manage end to end closure of books for US Entity and support in getting the audit done for the entity.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation monthly and timely closure of the reconciling items.
• Journal Entry Assessment/Automation/Migration and US GAAP Accruals.
• Monthly flux analysis
• Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure receipt of input and reports on time.
• Deliver routine tasks as per agreed timelines; while focusing on standardization and streamlining the process.
• Detecting accounting anomalies while conducting financial analysis through reconciliation to ensure that reported numbers are free from errors at month, quarter and year-end.

Work experience-Must Hands-on experience on FA module in SAP Hands on experience in Balance Sheet Analysis and Reconciliation

Month end close process IS experience SAP ECC or SAP S4HANA Excellent excel skills
