Job summary

Ravitej Projects in Vijayawada invites an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. This role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, GST/TDS compliance, and project accounting for infrastructure projects.

You will manage journals, ledgers, and statutory payments with close attention to detail. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in infrastructure development or construction, and proficient skills in Tally and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance or accounting.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience with statutory compliance.
• Mandatory exposure to infrastructure development or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and financial records with accuracy.
• Process AP/AR, journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations.
• Handle GST/TDS and statutory filings timely.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and MIS.
• Assist audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Support project accounting, costing and budgeting.

Job Title: Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate should have 34 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in the Infrastructure Development/Construction industry. The candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial records while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and ensure timely filing of returns.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process vendor invoices and coordinate payments.
• Monitor project-wise accounting, costing, and budgeting.
• Assist in audit activities and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Reconcile vendor, customer, and bank accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Support management with financial analysis and MIS reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
• Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Good understanding of project accounting in the Infrastructure/Construction sector.

Eligibility Criteria
