Job summary

Pbr Select Infra Projects is seeking an on-site Accountant in Hyderabad to manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and posting to the general ledger. You will support budgeting and month-end processes, ensuring accurate records and timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, with knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel; CA/CPA/CMA in progress or completed is an advantage, and construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CA/CPA/CMA in progress or completed is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vouchers, monitor project expenses, assist with budgeting, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records; assist with audits and regulatory compliance.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Hyderabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger postings, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include preparing vouchers, monitoring project expenses, assisting with budgeting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
• The role also involves preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a project-oriented environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/CMA in progress or completed) are an advantage.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based organizations is preferred but not mandatory.
