Job summary

EVERGREEN ENTERPRISES is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant based in Erode, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, with proficiency in Tally and a basic understanding of taxation. Key responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, handling accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating with auditors.

Candidates with experience in the construction industry will have an added advantage. The position demands strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in MS Excel.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Mandatory experience in Tally.
• Basic knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, and billing entries.
• Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger verification.
• Maintain financial records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors and support during audits.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper cost tracking.

• Ensure accuracy and timely updating of accounts
