Job summary

Chandni Collection in Delhi is seeking an attentive accountant with 2+ years of hands-on experience to manage day-to-day books and GST compliance. The role covers Tally-based entries, GST filings, AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and stock oversight in a trading environment.

You will coordinate with the company CA for audits and filings, and prepare monthly MIS on sales, margins, and expenses. Stable employment history and integrity are essential as cash and stock are involved.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Practical GST filing experience.
• MS Excel: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation work.
• Experience in a trading, wholesale, or retail business preferred.
• Stable employment history.
• Absolute integrity — this role has visibility on cash, stock, and receivables.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books in Tally sales, purchase, cash, bank, journal entries.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B); reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase register.
• Handle e-way bills and e-invoicing.
• Manage accounts receivable: track ageing reports, follow up on overdue payments with wholesale buyers.
• Manage accounts payable and vendor reconciliations.
• Daily bank reconciliation and cash handling oversight.
• TDS deduction, deposit, and quarterly return coordination.
• Assist with stock valuation and physical stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate with the company CA for audit, ITR, and statutory filings.
• Prepare monthly MIS: sales, margins, outstanding, expenses.
