Job summary

BERKOWITS HAIR & SKIN CLINIC is seeking an experienced accountant to handle routine accounting, GST and TDS compliance, and monthly reconciliations for a multi-state, multi-company setup. You will work with the accounts team, with defined areas of responsibility and support from seniors and consultants.

You will manage Tally-based books for multiple entities, prepare GST returns, ISD, TDS filings, and assist with monthly closings and MIS data for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Tally Prime/ERP 9 across multiple companies.
• Branch and inter-branch accounting with reconciliations.
• GST knowledge: returns, ISD, RCM and ITC.
• TDS/TCS knowledge, payments and 26AS reconciliation.
• E-commerce/online sales accounting and settlement reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for reconciliation.
• CA Inter preferred; BCom / MCom also considered; 3–6 years multi-state exposure.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting and book-keeping in Tally for multiple companies and states.

• Reconciliation of e-commerce and online sales with settlement reports and books.
• Booking of purchase, expense and commission invoices with correct GST and TDS treatment.
• Assistance in monthly closing, MIS schedules and audit data.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an accountant who can independently handle routine accounting, GST and TDS compliance and monthly reconciliations for a multi-state, multi-company business. You will work as part of the accounts team, with clearly defined areas of responsibility and support available from seniors and consultants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day-to-day accounting and book-keeping in Tally for multiple companies and states.
• Branch accounting and inter-branch/inter-company accounting and reconciliation.
• Preparation and filing of monthly GST returns - GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and ISD return - for all state registrations.
• Monthly GSTR-2B ITC reconciliation with books and follow-up with vendors for mismatches.
• TDS/TCS deduction, challan payment, quarterly return filing and Form 26AS reconciliation.
• Bank, debtor, creditor, inter-branch and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Reconciliation of e-commerce and online sales with settlement reports and books.
• Booking of purchase, expense and commission invoices with correct GST and TDS treatment.
• Assistance in monthly closing, MIS schedules and audit data.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9, including handling more than one company in multiple Tally and state-wise books.
• Mandatory: Working knowledge of branch accounting and inter-branch accounting, including stock/expense transfer between branches and their reconciliation.
• Good practical knowledge of GST - return filing, GSTR-2B reconciliation, common credit and reversal (Rule 42/43), ISD and RCM.
• Working knowledge of TDS and TCS - applicable sections, rates, payments, returns and 26AS.
• Exposure to e-commerce or online sales accounting - settlements, commission, returns and TCS.
• Good command over Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) for reconciliation work.
• CA Inter preferred; B.Com / M.Com also considered. 3-6 years of experience with multi-state or multi-entity exposure preferred.

Location: AAA House, Delhi, Okhla Phase 3, Near Modi Mills, Near Goindpuri Metro or Okhla NSIC

Working Days: 5.5(2nd & 4th Saturdays are off )

Work Time: 10 am -7:30 pm (9 hrs)
