Job summary

Gemcare Cancer Institute is seeking a finance-focused professional to oversee the hospital's financial management, billing, and compliance functions. The role covers daily to annual financial statements, bank reconciliations, AR/AP, and payroll processing for medical and contract staff.

You will coordinate with insurers on claims, monitor revenue cycles, and support auditors with documentation while ensuring accurate records of inventory and capital assets across departments.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Operations: Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Financial Management & Operations: Reconcile hospital bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and petty cash.
• Financial Management & Operations: Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Healthcare Billing & Claims: Process patient billings, insurance claims, and government healthcare reimbursements (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid/TPA).
• Healthcare Billing & Claims: Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and outstanding payments.
• Healthcare Billing & Claims: Monitor patient revenue cycles and aging accounts to optimize cash flow.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and healthcare financial mandates.
• Compliance & Auditing: Prepare documentation and assist internal/external auditors during annual financial audits.
• Compliance & Auditing: Maintain precise records of inventory, medical supplies, and capital assets.
