Job summary

Consulting Engineers Group Ltd. (CEG) is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant for our Head Office Accounts & Finance team in India. 1–3 years of accounting experience with practical knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST and day-to-day accounting operations is preferred.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and coordination skills to handle transactions, bank reconciliations, GST returns, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Practical knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accounting records and enter transactions in Tally.
• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase and expense entries.
• Assist in GST calculations, returns and related documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports using MS Excel.
• Assist in invoice processing, vendor payments and other accounting activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
