We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and result-driven Junior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, performing bank and ledger reconciliations, supporting GST/TDS compliance, and ensuring timely completion of routine accounting activities.
Handle day-to-day accounting entries including Purchase, Sales, Receipt, Payment, Journal and Contra.Maintain customer, vendor, transporter, vehicle-owner and other ledger accounts accurately.Verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents before accounting and payment processing.Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) and resolve unmatched or outstanding transactions.Maintain Accounts Payable & Receivable and monitor outstanding balances.Process and maintain records of advance payments, expense bills and adjustments.Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance and reconciliation activities.Prepare TDS/GST workings and supporting schedules for timely filing and payment.Maintain proper documentation of accounting vouchers, invoices, payment records and financial documents.Assist in monthly closing, ledger scrutiny and preparation of MIS/reports.Coordinate with operations, branches, vendors and internal teams for accounting-related issues and document collection.Identify and rectify accounting discrepancies, duplicate entries and incorrect postings.Support internal, statutory and tax audits by providing required records and information.Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, timely and as per company policies and internal controls.Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure proper record keeping.Perform other accounting and finance activities assigned by the Accounts Manager / Head – Accounts & Finance.
