Job summary

RELCO Electricals (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations. The role includes maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and preparing financial statements.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of GST and TDS is essential. The position is based at our office in New Delhi, Delhi.

Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and day-to-day accounting entries.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Generate MIS reports and financial statements for management.
• Process vendor payments and reconcile supplier/customer ledgers.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. M.Com is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and taxation.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Experience in bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ERP software will be an added advantage.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
