Job summary

Advisory Monks Consulting in Noida is looking for an Accountant to handle end-to-end accounting for our service-sector clients. You will manage day-to-day books, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings, while coordinating with auditors.

The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong GST and TDS knowledge, proficiency in Tally Prime, and good Excel skills. You will work with a small team and grow into broader audit support and client management.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance and portals.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime. Experience with Zoho Books is a plus.
• Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Able to handle multiple clients and deadlines without slipping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day books for multiple client companies: sales and purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Do monthly bank reconciliations and scrutinise ledgers.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) and reconcile with GSTR-2B; support GSTR-9.
• Calculate TDS, file quarterly 24Q and 26Q returns, and issue Form 16/16A.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Finalise balance sheet and P&L; coordinate with auditors during audits.
• Prepare simple monthly MIS for clients.
• Follow up with clients for invoices, bills, and bank statements.

Advisory Monks Consulting is a multi-disciplinary advisory firm in Noida. We work with startups, MSMEs, incubators and foreign companies operating in India. We are hiring an Accountant to handle end-to-end accounting for our service-sector clients.

What you will do

• Maintain day-to-day books for multiple client companies: sales and purchase entries, expenses, receipts and payments


• Do monthly bank reconciliations and scrutinise ledgers


• Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, reconcile with GSTR-2B, and support GSTR-9 annual returns


• Calculate TDS, deposit it through challans, file quarterly 24Q and 26Q returns, and issue Form 16 and 16A


• Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries, including accruals, provisions and prepaid expenses


• Finalise the balance sheet and P&L and coordinate with auditors during the audit


• Prepare simple monthly MIS for clients


• Follow up with clients for invoices, bills and bank statements

Who we are looking for

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably handling multiple clients or service businesses


• Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance and the relevant portals


• Proficiency in Tally Prime. Experience with Zoho Books is a plus


• Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
