Job summary

Westernacher Consulting in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join a growing team. You will handle end-to-end accounting processes, including AP/AR, GL entries, and month-end close, working with SAP S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of end-to-end accounting experience.
• Proficiency in AP, AR, GL, and month-end close processes.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Good communication for cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with GST/VAT and withholding tax.
• Exposure to global stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis for management review.
• Work on SAP S/4HANA for day-to-day accounting transactions and assist in issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks (SOX).
• Assist in audits and continuous process improvements through proper documentation and cross-team collaboration.
