Job summary

Textile Chemical Industries in Ahmedabad seeks an experienced Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting using Tally. You will maintain purchase/sales ledgers, perform bank reconciliations, manage payables and receivables, and prepare monthly MIS.

The role requires strong knowledge of GST/TDS, Excel proficiency, and meticulous, independent work to ensure accurate financial records for the company in Gujarat.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally
• Maintain purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries

• Perform bank reconciliations (BRS)
• Follow up on outstanding payments

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive for our company Textile Chemical Industries based in Ahmedabad. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Tally and be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally
• Maintain Purchase, Sales, Receipt, Payment and Journal entries
• Prepare and maintain Sales & Purchase Invoices
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers
• Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS)
• Follow up and maintain records of outstanding customer payments
• Handle GST-related accounting, including input/output GST reconciliation
• Assist with TDS calculations and records
• Maintain expense vouchers, bills and supporting documents
• Perform regular ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
• Coordinate with suppliers/customers regarding account-related queries
• Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and MIS
• Coordinate with CA/auditors for GST, taxation and year-end accounting requirements
• Maintain accurate and updated financial records
