Job summary

Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds in Mumbai seeks a Manager – Accounts to lead accounting operations including GST, taxation and audits, and to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The role requires CA with 1+ year post-qualification experience or fresher, strong Excel and ERP proficiency, and ability to manage AP/AR, month-end close, and audit coordination. Retail/jewelry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CA with 1+ year experience or fresher may be considered
• Strong understanding of GST and Taxation
• Experience in audits and financial reporting preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage and review GST compliance, GST reconciliation and input tax credit.
• Review Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and review financial statements and MIS reports.
• Coordinate and support statutory, internal and financial audits.
• Review ledgers, reconciliations, provisions, accruals and accounting entries.
• Handle TDS and other applicable tax compliances.
• Review bank, vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for audit and taxation matters.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and statutory requirements.
• Provide financial and accounting analysis to management.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Accounts, GST, Taxation and Auditing.
• Good understanding of financial statements and finalization of accounts.
• Strong experience in AP, AR and reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in retail, jewelry or multi-location businesses will be preferred.
