URGENT HIRING FOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions for the company, ensuring accurate cost accounting of gold and jewellery, statutory compliance, and effective internal controls in line with industry and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory valuation.
• Ensure accurate recording of gold transactions, including purity, wastage, and conversion entries.
• Coordinate statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit processes.
• Maintain proper books of accounts in Tally Prime, ensuring correct tracking of inventory and cost centres.
• Monitor gold movement between branches, factories, and job workers (including hallmarking units).
• Compliance & Taxation
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act.
• Manage e-way bills, GST returns, reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B, and input credit adjustments.
• Handle valuation of stock and working capital loans in coordination with banks.
• Oversee BIS documentation and reporting related to hallmarking and gold stock.
• Internal Controls & MIS
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls (IFC).
• Develop MIS reports on profitability, cost analysis, and stock movement.
• Present variance analysis (budget vs. actual) to management.
