Job summary

Jalan Infrastructure is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Kolkata to manage financial statements, ledgers, payroll and tax filings. The role involves MIS, CMA, budgeting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Prior exposure to GST and TDS compliance is essential for success in this position.

The candidate will oversee accounts payable/receivable, maintain voucher and cash book records, and collaborate with the finance team for timely reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in finalization of accounts and financial statements.
• Proficiency in maintaining ledgers and vouchers.
• Knowledge of payroll and tax filings (GST/TDS).

Responsibilities

• Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements.
• Maintain sales, purchases, journal and general ledger books.
• Control debtors and creditors; assist in cash flow.
• Prepare vouchers and maintain cash book records.
• Prepare MIS, ratio analysis and CMA reports.
• Prepare budgets, trial balance, and P&L accounts.
• Handle payroll of employees; file GST, TDS and ST3 returns.
