Qualifications

• CA Intermediate qualified or equivalent required.
• 4–5 years of accounting experience essential.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate recording of sales, purchases, receipts and payments and other accounting transactions.
• Manage monthly closing, reconciliations and finalisation of accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations (customer, vendor, loans).
• Ensure GST accounting and compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B.
• Oversee ITC reconciliations and GST return filing.
• Manage TDS deduction, payment, return filing and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and ageing reports.
• Assist in budgeting and variance analysis; interact with auditors and consultants.

Role & responsibilities :

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other accounting transactions.
• Manage monthly closing, reconciliations, and finalisation of accounts within defined timelines.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliation and reconciliation of customer, vendor, loan, and other ledgers.
• Ensure accurate GST accounting and compliance, including reconciliation of books with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B.
• Perform Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and ensure timely and accurate GST return filing.
• Manage TDS deduction, payment, return filing, certificates, and reconciliation.
• Prepare and review monthly Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and receivables/payables ageing reports.
• Assist in annual budgeting, monitor actual performance against budgets, and identify significant variances.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and other professional advisors.
• Maintain and manage Tally masters, ledgers, groups, cost centres, user access, accounting controls, and data backups.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with established accounting policies and internal controls.
• Possess working knowledge of Holding and Subsidiary Accounting, including inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor team deliverables and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information, reports, and responses to management requirements.
• Support management in financial analysis, compliance matters, and other accounting-related requirements.

Preferred candidate profile:

The ideal candidate should be CA Intermediate, detail-oriented, accountable, technically strong in accounting and taxation, and capable of independently managing finance and accounting activities while coordinating with internal teams, auditors, consultants, and management.
