Job description

The Account Director will be responsible for directly handling and supervising a portfolio of PCG's clients, providing high-level strategic counsel to clients across verticals. The person will also be responsible for new business development, and managing a team.

KRAs:

• Responsible for strategising and implementing integrated marketing communications programs, covering PR, Social Media and Visual Communications
• Supervise all accounts within their purview and ensure the required mandates are met effectively, with a high level of output and quality
• Keep abreast of current and evolving PR trends and tools to develop more effective strategies
• Developing and sharing required media intelligence
• Building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
• Being involved in prospecting and pitching for new business and developing PR proposals
• Managing and mentoring junior members of staff, leading the teams, and ensuring all processes are met
• Promoting a healthy company culture and ensuring all the processes are effectively followed

The Ideal Candidate should:

• Proven work experience of at least 12 years in a reputed public relations agency
• Possess a high degree of communication - verbal and written skills
• Possess impressive emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise
