Job summary

SSO Solutions LLP in Mumbai is seeking a diligent Accountant/Bookkeeper to handle end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients, including reconciliations, ledger reviews, and monthly MIS.

You will manage GST, TDS, ITR filing, PT compliance, and assist with audits, using Zoho Books and Tally. Relevant finance qualifications and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, ITR filing and PT compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel; Zoho Books experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients, bank/vendor/customer reconciliations, ledger reviews, and monthly MIS preparation.
• GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, ITR filings, and PT compliance support.
• Audit support: prepare schedules, working papers, and coordinate with auditors.
• Assist in migrations to cloud-based accounting solutions and Zoho Books implementation.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients, bank/vendor/customer reconciliations, ledger reviews, finalization of accounts, and monthly MIS preparation.

Tax Compliance:

Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, Income Tax Returns (ITR), and Professional Tax (PT) returns. Handling tax reconciliations, computations, compliance workings, and maintaining supporting documentation.

Audit Support:

Assisting with Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits; preparing audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documents; and coordinating directly with clients and auditors.

Work extensively on Zoho Books and Tally; assist in client accounting migrations, process improvements, workflow automation, and implementation of cloud-based accounting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance

Technical:

Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, ITR filing, Professional Tax (PT) compliance, and finalization of accounts. Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel. Zoho Books experience is highly preferred.

Soft Skills:

Excellent client communication, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients and compliance deadlines seamlessly.
