Job summary

Yashaamm Fashions Pvt Ltd, a multi-brand fashion group, seeks an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting on Tally, maintain books up to Trial Balance, and support GST/TDS compliance. Job description

We are a multi-brand fashion group operating across B2B, ecommerce marketplaces, and D2C, with multiple registered entities. We are looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting on Tally, maintain accurate books, support GST/TDS compliance, and assist with monthly closing and reporting. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting:

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, and adjustments in Tally.
• Maintain books up to Trial Balance for assigned entities.
• Perform regular bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
• Maintain proper vouchers and supporting documents.
• Keep accounting records accurate, updated, and well-organized.

GST, TDS & Compliance:

• Prepare GST data and workings and coordinate with the CA for monthly filings.
• Handle TDS entries, deductions, and data for quarterly returns.
• Assist with audits, year-end closing, and other statutory requirements.
• Track compliance deadlines and highlight pending requirements.

MIS & Reporting:

• Ensure Tally data is correctly classified and updated for accurate MIS reporting.
• Prepare Tally reports such as ledgers, sales registers, outstanding reports, and stock summaries.
• Support monthly closing activities.

Director's Personal Accounting:

• Maintain the Director's personal accounts separately from company books.
• Track personal expenses, investments, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.

Must Have:

• 1–2 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally.
• Good understanding of accounting from journal entries to Trial Balance.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Experience with company and personal/proprietor accounting.
• Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
• Accurate, organized, and comfortable handling confidential financial information.

Nice to Have:

• Experience handling multiple registered entities.
• Experience in fashion, retail, textile, or ecommerce.

Familiarity with ecommerce marketplace settlements.
