Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an accounting professional in Nagpur to maintain ledgers, perform monthly close, and assist audits. The role requires hands-on work with Tally and QuickBooks, bank reconciliations, and tax filings support.

You will collaborate with the tax team and finance colleagues to ensure accurate financial records, timely payments, and compliance with GST/TD liabilities. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain Tally and QuickBooks to ensure accurate ledgers.
• Monthly closing and general accounting activities.
• Reconcile cash, bank positions, and other records for accuracy.
• Assist with annual audits and support tax filing processes.
• Prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure timely bank payments and statutory liabilities such as GST/ TDS.
• Support internal and external auditing services as needed.
• Maintain daily reconciliations and internal controls.
• Coordinate with tax team and finance colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Oversee compliance and documentation for financial processes.

Role & responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

• 1. Maintain Tally and Quickbooks
• 2. Monthly closing
• 3.Perform cash and security position reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• 4. Assist with annual audits by providing documentation and supporting information, and support the tax team in preparing tax filings
• 5. Responsible for general accounting work along with maintaining daily reconcillaitions and controls.
• 7. Prepares/ oversees general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• 8. Ensure timely bank payments.
• 9. Preparing GST and TDS Monthly statements and maintaining statutory liabilities
• 10. Provide support for internal and external auditing services.

Skills required:

• 1. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• 2. Well- versed in the MS Office suite.
• 3. A strong work ethic and willingness to work as needed to accomplish projects on timelines
