Job Description Summary

Accessory Modules Delivery Focus leader role is a high-impact role within Aux Fluids and even at Mechanical CoE. Person is empowered & accountable to solve one of the most significant delivery challenges, the HA accessory modules, within the Heavy-Duty New Unit business line. Also, will take a complete ownership of the operational, technical, and transformational elements within the AM Modules space.

Coordinate and collaborate with all AM cross-functional teams to ensure that, we execute and deliver AM top level parts for all operational, technical, & transformational projects & programs including the installation support of accessory modules and potentially other strategic opportunities in the organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Execution Strategy : Define the execution strategy for accessory modules on each H-class project at engineering release. Build two sets per month delivery consistency and even beyond based on volume/demand.
• Accessory Module Daily Management Cadence : Ability to lead and conduct scrum meetings with all internal sub functions, navigate team towards the end target and further to meet RTS commitments and implement best practices.
• Standards Maintenance/GBOM Governance : Lead/Collaborate/Partner with cross functions to maintain clean standards & interfaces. Drive completion & continuous maintenance of Hoshin and/or GBOM designs for standard parts.
• Delivery - Configure to Order : Drive standards application at PBOM. Oversee direct release process to technically approve parts application and to verify interfaces across the system. Ensure standard parts are used, vigorously challenge and correct part selections prior to design release where standard parts are not used, & problem solve any deviations to establish effective preventive actions. Collaborate with the ITR Product Champion to ensure the standard is sold consistently.
• Internal KOM after ORM/ERM à Taking complete ownership in reviewing MF/CRs, PBOM inputs review to maximize DR efficiency by closely working with Piping/Electrical & Instrumentation/Structures function.
• Delivery - Engineer to Order : Aggressively manage delivery & drive engineered to order designs to start with clean standards. Remove delivery barriers real-time and elevate urgent issues that cannot be solved by the front-line team. Problem-solve upstream delivery issues cross-functionally with a one team mindset and install permanent countermeasures to position the team for success. Drive continuous reduction of drawing backlog to zero.
• Change Management : Reduce post release changes & minimize change cycles.
• Cost : Lead evaluation & implementation of cost out ideas.
• Supply Chain Engagement : Drive strong collaboration with Sourcing & suppliers, support qualifications, and ensure execution of supplier requirements and design reviews.

Required Qualifications

• B. Tech/B. E/M.tech in Mechanical with excellent academic record.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of total experience and hands on experience on Steam or Gas Turbine product/accessories related engineering discipline.
