Job summary

Karkinos Healthcare Private Limited in Navi Mumbai is seeking a lab technician to accession samples received by shipments or walk-ins, ensuring patient and sample details match the TRF and submitted material.

You will verify the correct fixative per SOPs, select appropriate test codes, dispatch samples to the respective departments, and support lab staff with intake while following all SOPs.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./DMLT with minimum 2 years of accessioning experience in Diagnostics.
• NGS/Genomics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accessioning all samples received via shipments/logistic associates and walk-ins.
• Match sample/patient details on the TRF with the submitted sample.
• Check for the appropriate sample fixative as per SOPs.
• Check for the appropriate Test code selection.
• Send samples to the respective departments.
• Support operational lab staff with sample intake and accessioning, following relevant SOPs.

Role & responsibilities

Accessioning all samples received via shipments/ logistic associates & Walk-in

To match the sample/ patient details mentioned on the TRF & the sample submitted

To check for the appropriate sample fixative as per SOPs

To check for the appropriate Test code selection

To send samples to the respective departments

To support the operational lab staff with sample intake and accessioning. This will entail following all relevant SOPs
