Job summary

Accellor is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in Hyderabad to lead automation efforts for web, Salesforce, and enterprise apps. You will design comprehensive test plans, develop Playwright-based scripts, and drive quality throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and program managers, mentor junior QA engineers, and contribute to CI/CD integration. Strong Java/JS/TS skills and mobile testing with Appium are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• Hands-on Automation Testing with Playwright.
• Experience with Mobile Testing using Appium.
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience testing web apps and APIs.
• Experience with Playwright-based automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies understanding.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking (JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Experience collaborating with developers, product/program managers.
• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers.
• Professional proficiency in English.

QA Engineer with strong expertise in Automation Testing using Playwright, and Appium Mobile testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web, salesforce, and enterprise applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and program managers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management tools
• Participate in test strategy planning and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to building and maintaining automation frameworks and reusable test utilities
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into the build process
• Ensure high test coverage and reliable automation suites
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 5 - 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright
• Prior experience with Mobile Testing using Appium
• Strong programming skills in: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience testing web applications and APIs
• Experience with Playwright-based automation frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.)
• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus
