Role Description The Academic Counsellor – APAC role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida 63 . The individual in this role will guide prospective and current learners across APAC in selecting suitable programs, providing structured student counseling and academic advising aligned with their goals and background. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations (online and in-person), explaining program structures and admission requirements, and supporting learners through application and enrollment processes. The Academic Counsellor will collaborate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to ensure consistent communication, accurate information, and a positive learner experience. The role also involves tracking learner progress, offering career counseling support where appropriate, and maintaining detailed records and reports to inform outreach and retention strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills, with the ability to understand learner goals and recommend appropriate programs.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and active listening in diverse cultural contexts.
• Career Counseling capabilities to support learners in aligning academic choices with long-term professional pathways.
• Solid understanding of Education systems and higher education structures, ideally within APAC and global university contexts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field.
• Experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student support in an educational or edtech environment.
• Comfort with using digital tools, CRM or student information systems, and online communication platforms.
• Ability to work in a target-driven, collaborative setting while maintaining learner-centric ethics and confidentiality.
