Job summary

Nysa Communications seeks a passionate educator to design a story-based curriculum from Pre-Nursery to Class 1. You will craft original stories, map learning outcomes, and integrate English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, and Life Skills through narrative-based learning.

You will develop story-driven lesson plans, workbooks and assessments for classroom use. Collaborating with illustrators and content teams, you will ensure CBSE/NCERT alignment and promote child-centered, activity-based learning

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, English, Curriculum Development or a related field.
• Experience in curriculum development, academic content development or textbook/workbook development.
• Strong understanding of CBSE/NCERT curriculum and Foundational Stage education.
• Excellent story-writing and children's content-writing skills.
• Ability to convert academic concepts into simple, engaging and meaningful stories.
• Understanding of child-centred and activity-based learning.
• Experience in developing workbooks, activity books, worksheets and assessment materials.
• Strong understanding of age-wise learning abilities and developmental milestones.
• Excellent command of English; Hindi proficiency will be an advantage.
• Ability to lead or coordinate a team of writers, academic experts, illustrators and designers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a story-based curriculum framework from Pre-Nursery to Class 1.
• Create original, engaging and age-appropriate educational stories for children.
• Map stories with age-wise learning outcomes, competencies and curriculum objectives.
• Integrate English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS/Environmental Awareness, General Awareness, Life Skills and Values through stories.
• Develop a structured Story Concept Activity Practice Assessment learning model.
• Design story-based lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Develop workbooks, activity books, practice sheets and assessment materials based on the stories.
• Ensure curriculum progression from Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, UKG to Class 1.
• Maintain consistency with CBSE/NCERT principles and Foundational Stage learning approaches.
• Develop teacher-friendly academic resources, including teacher guides and implementation guidelines.
• Work with illustrators, designers and content teams to convert stories and curriculum concepts into engaging learning materials.
• Review and academically validate all developed content.
