Responsibilities

• Academic Content Development: create structured content including presentations, lesson plans, notes, case studies, assignments, exercises, and assessments.
• Research & Curriculum Enhancement: study digital business trends, identify relevant frameworks and case studies to strengthen learning.
• Content Quality & Academic Standards: review and edit material for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with faculty, subject-matter experts, and academic teams to refine content.
• Additional Duties: support new courses, curriculum updates, and learner-engagement improvements.

About the Role: As the Academic Content Developer for IIDE’s Digital Business Programs and BDB department, you will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality, industry-relevant academic content that strengthens the learner experience and keeps IIDE’s curriculum aligned with evolving business needs. This role involves researching, emerging business and digital trends, developing structured learning material, creating engaging academic resources, and collaborating closely with faculty members, subject matter experts, and internal teams. You will contribute across the academic content lifecycle—from research and curriculum development to content creation, review, and continuous improvement—while maintaining high standards of academic quality and industry relevance.

What You'll Do:

• Academic Content Development:
  • Develop structured academic content including presentations, lesson plans, learning notes, case studies, assignments, exercises, and assessments.
  • Translate complex business, digital, and technology concepts into clear, engaging, and learner-friendly content.
  • Create learning material that balances conceptual understanding with practical, real-world, and industry-oriented applications.
• Research & Curriculum Enhancement:
  • Conduct ongoing research across digital business, marketing, AI, technology, entrepreneurship, management, and emerging industry trends.
  • Identify relevant frameworks, tools, case studies, business examples, data points, and industry developments that strengthen classroom learning.
  • Support the continuous review, updating, and enhancement of existing curricula to ensure relevance to changing industry requirements.
• Content Quality & Academic Standards:
  • Review and edit academic material for accuracy, clarity, structure, consistency, relevance, and learner engagement.
  • Ensure all academic content aligns with IIDE’s learning objectives, academic standards, and program expectations.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, depth, structure, and quality across learning materials developed for Digital Business Programs and the BDB department.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with faculty members, subject matter experts, academic teams, and other stakeholders to develop and refine course content.
  • Incorporate feedback from faculty, learners, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve academic material.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure content deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Additional Duties:
  • Support the development of new courses, modules, academic initiatives, and curriculum updates as required.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve learner engagement, content effectiveness, and overall academic quality.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.

Requirements

• Must-Have:

• Should Have:
  • Experience in academic content development, instructional content, curriculum development, educational publishing, learning design, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with developing presentations, case studies, lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and other academic resources.
  • Ability to research emerging business and digital trends and translate insights into practical and relevant learning content.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Nice to Have:
  • Previous experience with an EdTech company, educational institution, business school, higher-education organisation, or learning platform.
  • Experience collaborating with faculty members, academicians, or industry subject matter experts.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles or learner-centric content development.
