Job summary

Azimpremjiuniversity seeks an Academic Associate (AA) in Applied Economics to provide academic support to students and contribute to developing courses and running the lab. This is a 2-year full-time position with responsibilities spanning course support, data analysis, lab sessions, tutorials, and mentoring postgraduate students.

You will engage in independent or collaborative research under faculty mentorship and be assigned a faculty mentor for research guidance and feedback on projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office – MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency and comfort working with data in R and Stata.
• An interest in mentoring and engaging with a socially and academically diverse cohort of students.
• Interest in mentoring, developing and engaging with accessible teaching and learning materials.
