Job summary

Intellics Global Services in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced ETL Developer specializing in Ab Initio to design, develop, test and support large-scale ETL workflows. You will implement data extraction, loading into DW/Marts, and collaborate with analysts to translate requirements into scalable ETL designs.

Responsibilities include metadata management with Ab Initio EME, reusable component development, data validation and performance tuning, and ensuring SLAs are met.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support ETL workflows with Ab Initio GDE
• Implement ETL from multiple sources into DW/Marts
• Use Ab Initio EME for metadata management and deployment
• Develop reusable transforms, XFRs, DMLs and reference data
• Data validation, reconciliation and performance tuning
• Collaborate with analysts to translate requirements into ETL designs
• Support production ETL, troubleshoot issues and meet SLAs
• Follow coding standards and data governance guidelines
• Prepare technical docs, ETL design docs, mappings and runbooks
• 26+ years hands-on Ab Initio ETL experience
• Strong expertise in Ab Initio GDE graphs and Unix shell scripting
• Working knowledge of Ab Initio EME for metadata versioning
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing patterns
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation

• Work with Ab Initio EME Enterprise MetaEnvironment for metadata management version control and deployment
• Develop reusable components such as transforms XFRs DMLs parameter files and reference data structures
• Perform data validation reconciliation error handling and performance tuning of ETL jobs
• Collaborate with business analysts and data modelers to understand requirements and convert them into scalable ETL designs
• Support production ETL jobs troubleshoot issues and ensure adherence to SLAs
• Follow coding standards naming conventions and data governance guidelines
