Core Technical Requirements

• Core ABAP: Advanced expertise in Classical/Interactive Reports, ALV (ABAP List Viewer), and Module Pool / Dialog Programming.
• Enhancements & Modifications: Deep understanding of user exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs (Business Add-Ins), and explicit/implicit Enhancement Spots.
• Integrations (Interfaces): Strong ability to develop and debug BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Proxies.
• Forms & Outputs: Hands-on creation and modification of SmartForms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.
• S/4HANA & Cloud (TCS Modernization Mandate): TCS actively targets S/4HANA readiness, requiring knowledge in CDS (Core Data Services) views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and OData services. Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) is highly preferred.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Development & Customization: Design, develop, and test custom ABAP objects based on detailed functional specifications.
• Bug Fixing & Performance: Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on production incidents and optimize ABAP programs by tuning SQL queries and memory management.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants (e.g., SD, FICO, PP/QM) to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions.
